Diploma in Occupational Therapy

The 3 year diploma programme is proposed on a unit basis. The programme operates within the framework of two semesters per year, with each semester comprising of 21 weeks in all.

Graduates will be employed as a qualified occupational therapy technician under the supervision of an occupational therapist in the following areas in occupational therapy

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

S5 and Mature Applicants:

  • International Examinations: Grade C or better in IGCSE or equivalent in English (2nd Language), Biology and ChemistryAND
  • National Examinations: 60% or better in Mathematics.

Mature Applicants:

  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in a health-related field.

Work-Based Experience (WBE)

Learners will undergo work attachment at the Hospice, Seychelles hospital, Mental home, elderly home, wellness Centre and exceptional school.
