World Environmental Health Day is observed annually on 26th September to spread awareness of the health of the environment. For the occasion, the Learner Support department with the Environmental Health Sciences learners moved out of the institute for some volunteer work. This was in the form of some upkeeping work at the Elderly Home at La Retraite on the 30th of September. Learners from the access, Emergency Medical Care, and the Nursing programme also gathered together that afternoon to help out. At the Elderly Home, the welcoming was great, the stories were wonderful, and the satisfaction expressed by the elders was awesome.
